Our website has been going through some radical changes with the recent demand sent to us by the Viking Air Tool people. Not being legally obligated, we obliged them in a gesture of keeping the peace and have dropped off the name Viking in the promotion of our new Conquest Straight Line ATCOA Sander. Any Inline Sander user, with any time in the collision business, knows who we are and that before us, there was no such animal!!!! 97% of all the Straightline/Inline longboard air Sanders are copies of our original ATCOA Viking Dual Filer/Sander or dirivitive looks which came from our copyright design!!
While on the subject, we at ATCOA.com are planning to produce training videos similar to the one we have been running on our site. This avenue of opportunity should be developed by all of the tools and materials manufacturers. The main trouble with people who are not in the trades is that they come across as amateurs themselves. Not all, but a lot of the auto body training schools are using instructors who have a teaching credential but ARE NOT SKILLED TRADESMEN!!! We have been around a few very successful auto body vocational facilities and in every case, we found that the instructors were, in fact, tradesmen. However, all too often this is not the case!!!
