In the last Eastwood video we cleaned the Mustang and got it ready to start working on. In this video, we are going to start tear down. This is the process of removing all of the parts needed to make the repairs.
As mentioned in the video, it’s best to take everything off before you start working on the car. This will eliminate the need to stop and remove items as you go. Well, there are times it may be better to leave a part on. For instance, we left the doors, hood, and deck lid on the car so we could work on them first. This will keep us from fighting with stands. Once we have the parts repaired, then we can take them off and continue repairs on the car.

I”m org. owner of a 96 caprice, I use it to pull my 4400lbs boat , But it needs a paint job, looked to rent a shops booth , all of said no. Asked around for 2 yrs , still NG. Can’t do it in my driveway & realestate brokers come up dry when I say I want to paint my car.
So! I have a 200hp Yamaha outboard motor on the boat, which I started to sand the lower half getting ready to paint. Yamaha says the paint # is 008D , can’t seem to X reference it so I can buy it at my local auto supply house . Any Idea’s , Yamaha paint price is outrageous. Glad to see you associated with Eastwood.
