BCC Student Demonstrates How To Apply Fiberglass Filler To a Welded Area

November 14, 2008 by Butler--BCRN 2 Comments

Brandyn, a BCC Collision Repair student, demonstrates how to apply fiberglass filler to a welded area on a vehicle. He also explains why fiberglass filler is needed, as apposed to plastic body filler, over welded areas.

As I convey to my students, just learning the content does not necessary mean that they can perform it. However, after learning a task, applying the task by practicing it, and then explaining and teaching the task by demonstrating it to others will assure that they will be able to properly perform it.

Here is a quick analogy. Reading the Atkins Diet book will not help you lose weight. You must apply what you learn to reap the benefits.

Watch the short video of Brandyn demonstrating how to apply fiberglass filler. He is well on his way to reaping the benefits that collision repair has to offer.
