The collision repair students from Butler Community College visited Elite Auto Body in El Dorado, Kansas. The purpose of the class trip was to give the students an contextual learning experience of what the collision repair industry has to offer. Patrick Sampoll, the owner of Elite Auto Body, did a great job of demonstrating and conveying the expectations of the industry. He encouraged the students to show up to class everyday, be on time everyday, and to do their best. Patrick said, “once you complete the program, you either have what it takes or not…I all depends on how hard you try while in school.”

Blacktop Nationals This Weekend Only
The Blacktop Nationals are going on in Wichita KS right now. The event started Thursday and will be going on until Sunday. The event will have thousands of cars on show, a live auction Friday and Saturday, drifting competition, and much more! Elite Auto Body will be attending the even for the first time this year. We plan to look into setting up an advertising booth next year. This four day event will end the summer greatly. I encourage everyone to attend to admire the auto body work on the vehicles. Elite Auto Body Joins Two Organizations!
Elite Auto Body had their ribbon cutting for the Chamber of Commerce last Wednesday the 18th. The shop is proud to be a member of the Chamber along with many other small businesses in the area. Organizations such as these are the ones that help the independent business such as ourselves out. Don’t get me wrong though, the Chamber of Commerce also helps out the big companies too! Elite Auto Body also joined the National Federation of Independent Business. This organization keeps small businesses up to date on Congress’ new bills, elections and upcoming issues, not only in the state but also for federal issues that may affect small business owners. Also look for Elite Auto Body in the 12th Annual El Dorado Open Car Show this year. More information found here. Elite Auto Body’s First Week
Elite Auto Body opened on August 1st in El Dorado Kansas. They are located on 520 South Main. They proudly served 10-12 estimates to customers their first week and have already scheduled 3! The community is pleased with the appearance of the office, as well as the services they are receiving. The El Dorado Times posted an article about the Auto Body Shop on the fourth of August.
