Tool Used To Repair Small Dings and Hail Damage

May 27, 2014 by admin 1 Comment

Click Here to learn how to work on small engines

There are many ways to repair small dings and hail damage.  If the paint was not damaged and you are not wanted to repaint the car, then painless dent removal may be an option.  If the dent is small enough, you may want to block the area to see if it will block out.  If it doesn’t block out you can apply primer or glaze putty if needed.  However, if the dent is too big to block or fill, then the tool we are going to demonstrate in this video may be something you want to try.  We are already planning on painting the whole car, so PDR methods are not going to be used.  This method does require you to remove the coatings to the bare metal.  Check it out.

Tips To Recover Seat Upholstery

September 29, 2013 by admin 1 Comment

I get asked questions about how to do upholstery.  I do paint interior parts, but when it comes to the actual upholstery work, I have not done a lot of that.  Fortunately, I did run across this video from Eastwood that shows the steps to upholstery your seats.  However, this is not a quick and simple method, as upholstery work does take time to do it correctly.

I wanted to post this video to provide a few tips for you, if you should want to know how.

Watch the video below to learn more.  And be sure to watch our new Eastwood Video Series, where we are going to paint a car from start to finish using Eastwood products.  We’ll take you step-by-step through the process.  To watch the episodes as they are released, visit www.CollisionBlast.com/Eastwood
