Recycled rides aim to help more families – FOX16.com Little Rock, AR

July 28, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

I stumbled onto this article and I had to pass it along.  With all of the negative news in the media, it’s refreshing to hear news about people helping people.

The Recycled Rides program helps provide people with a car than would not have been able to own a car any other way.  Jody Gatchell with A & J Collision, is working to provide eight families across the state with a new set of wheels.  Now that is on fire to help people in need.  In the video you will hear Jody say, “helping each other will make the world a better place.”

I would like to commend Jody and all other collision repair shops that are doing similar things to help other people.  Read the full article via Recycled rides aim to help more families – FOX16.com Little Rock, AR.

I Registered, Why Do I Not Show Up In The Author Box?
All you have to do is to make your first collision repair related post.  This will automatically add your username into the author box on the home page.  This will also include the number of posts that you have added. Since we only allow a limited number of authors, we will change the status of some of the authors that never post to a member.  This will allow new authors to have a chance to post on this site.  However, everyone that signs up are classified authors for now.  When we hit our limit, new members will be classified as a member.

July 9, 2010 by admin 1 Comment

I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Repair, will exhibit at the 2010 SEMA Show, marking the first time that the nonprofit training organization has appeared at the Show as an exhibitor.

In addition to participating as an exhibitor, I-CAR will provide several hands-on technical demonstrations on the Show floor designed to provide attendees with information about some of the most current issues in vehicle technology and important considerations for collision repair.

“I-CAR is pleased to be part of the 2010 SEMA Show and reach out to this audience with information about collision repair,” said John Edelen, I-CAR president and CEO.

“With the rapid rate of change in vehicle technology and design, the need to stay current on repair processes is more important than ever. For us, the SEMA audience represents individuals who are keenly aware of emerging technology in the automotive industry, and I-CAR is committed to providing the most current collision-repair training opportunities that will meet their needs.”
