I recently traveled to Artesia, NM, to attend a funeral. On the way back, I stopped at Shamrock, Texas, and took this photo of the Conoco Tower Station and U-Drop In Cafe.
Other than the unique look of the station that was built in 1936, I also found it interesting they served food at the cafe, filled your car with gas, worked on cars, and do your laundry.
I guess you could say that was the small town Walmart back in the day.

I have some awesome YouTube viewers. I had a lot of motivating comments through the years and I appreciate you all for asking questions, subscribing, and liking my videos and website. I wanted to share a few of the comments I’ve had this past week and give a shoutout to them. This is what motivates me and I want to say thank you.
PISTOL2321 IV • Thanks Donnie. Kept it simple and not confusing that everyone else does
tony187sound proof • Thanks for showing how to run the wire from the light to the inside. I watched a few videos before yours and everyone seemed to skip over that part.
TRUTH4U2NO • This man is the best instructor on You Tube re: auto body work. Thank you sir for all your uploads.
Justin Ledoux • I am hobbiest with little experience which is why this channel is ideal for me to watch and learn!
Chris Kremer • Awesome video, thanks for doing it it real time, and doing everything you would do to do a repair like that.
theozman38 I’ve watched a few of your videos. Cool content.
Thanks again to everyone for watching, commenting and asking questions. We are almost at 92,000 YouTube subscribers and looking forward to hitting the goal of 100,000 subscribers. I wanted to reach that goal before 2020, which I don’t think will happen, but we came close.
