You would think that autonomous features, automatic stopping, lane assist, and all of the other safety features new cars have, that accidents would be on the decline. However, auto accidents are on the rise.
I recently attended a training event where CCC One, a leading auto estimating and management system, showed us the statistic of auto accidents on the rise and expect more wrecks in the future. As they explained, it’s not necessarily the safety features failing, but the people driving the cars are becoming too dependent on the safety features and paying less attention to driving.
These features are not 100% safe, as many people believe, so stay alert and pay attention while driving. Here is a video talking about automatic braking.
