Body lines are difficult to repair and shape. This should be taken into consideration when estimating the time to repair a damaged area. Additional time should be added to a body line are for several reasons.
The first reason is that a body line is work-hardened. This requires more force to move the damage back to its original shape. The second reason is keeping the body line uniform and straight when shaping the filler.
In this video, I am going to demonstrate how to apply and shape body filler when working on a body line so it looks the same way it did before the damage.
