Navigation systems have come a long way in the past few years. I remember I got one of the first generation systems…I think it was Garmin. They were cool at the time, but I ended up on some dead end dirt roads following the directions. But, I thought it was cool and it “usually” got me where I wanted to go.
I must admit that today’s GPS systems are much more accurate and normally get you where you want to go. It’s kinda cool to see the first generation of items and see how they evolved into what they are today…..remember the first computers? It would take a room full of equipment to equal a small smart phone we can carry in our pocket.
