I don’t know if you priced the cost of new decals, but they can be quite costly. If you have a template like demonstrated in this video, you can take the template to a graphics business and they can cut decals or stencils for you. This is much less expensive buying new decals. If you have stencils cut out, you can paint the decals on the car.
Or if you are going to lay the stripes out yourself and cut the words out, then the template will help align the decal on.
Once the template is traced, now the decals can be removed. We used a heat gun, but other methods can be used to remove stripes and decals.
