I was talking in the last video about being burned out on doing videos. But getting re-inspired at SEMA. I think to keep from getting burned out we need to look for new adventures in life.
In the video I actually have video clips from SEMA 2016 of car burnouts and drifting. It is so much better to watch in person, but hopefully you will enjoy the video.
Back to new adventures. I bought a jet boat that I am starting to restore. Once I get some footage I will post some videos of it. I have never owned a jet boat so this is new and exciting to me. I remember as a kid my older cousin having one. I guess this planted a seed because I’ve always thought they were cool and wanted one. His was an Eliminator with the pickle fork front. I wanted one just like his, but found a Condor instead. It is an older boat and is going to take a lot of work. But overall it was not in too bad shape for its age. I will post more about the boat in upcoming posts.
The other thing that sparked an interest is a Harley Davison motorcycle. My friend just got one and it would be fun to go on some bike runs with him. Here is a picture of the bike…doesn’t that look fun?
We all become burned out in life at times, but the key is to find new things to ignite our passion. Unfortunately both of my new interests take a lot of money, which may delay the plans a little, but there are less expensive hobbies out there. Don’t ever think you completely lost your drive. Life knocks you down sometimes, but take a little time, dust yourself off and get up again. Look for the things that make you happy and work towards getting there. It’s not the things in life that keep us going, but the hope and the journey along the way.

November 23, 2016 at 10:13 amMan Thanks,
Cause I not long ago woke to the fact of how complicated my life is and I got depressed. What I needed to do is to stand back and take a breath and deflate the stress and reignite my joy that I lost in the scrambles.
