Goodbye 2015

Another year has rushed by…2015 is almost over and 2016 is here.  Crazy how fast the years are going by.  I have another post about my trip to SEMA in Las Vegas, but this time I’m wanted show you a little bit of what I did in Vegas besides SEMA.
Never Know Who You’ll Run Into In Vegas

One thing about Las Vegas is that you never know who you may run into.  Custom car builders, celebrities, but cooler than that, I ran into Karey, an old friend who I have not seen in 25 years.  And the strange thing is that we picked up right where we left off all these years later.  Strange how that works.

So after catching up, we decided to have a character drawing of us done.  I’ve never had one of those done before so I didn’t know what to expect.  After looking at it I got a kick out of it though.  The lady doing this did it in minutes with markers.  It amazes me how some people have so much talent do do this.  So what do you think…does it look like our photo above?


First Tattoo

I also decided to get my first tattoo while there.  I was a little nervous, but it didn’t really hurt like I thought it might.  Jason Roofe at Black Wolf Tattoo Parlour did the tattoo for me.  I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he drew it up for me to see if I liked it or not.  It looked great so I had him tattoo it on my left art.  The photo below was right after it was finished.  If you ever decide to get a tattoo in Vegas, Jason does great work at a reasonable price, I recommend him.

2016 Challenge

Happy New Year

I would like to wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year.  Have fun New Year’s Eve, but be sure to be safe.  I’ll post more in 2016!!!
