One of my son’s friend got is door side glass broken out while it was parked at his house. The good thing is that nothing was stolen from the car. So we’re not sure why it happened, but this is aggravating to me. We found a used door glass from LKQ and I replaced to for him.
It’s a 1993…not a new car, but it is new to their friend and he hated to see something happen to it like this. If you have nothing better to do than break glass, key cars, or any other type of destruction, then break your own stuff. Not someone else’s!!!!
Here is the video of the steps I took to replace the door glass. It does not take long and only takes a few basic hand tools.
To replace the door glass you will need:
- Small Flat Head Screw Diver
- Phillips Screw Driver
- Door Trim Removal Tool – http://CollisionBlast.com/TrimTool
- 10 MM Socket
- Vacuum Cleaner – Used to vacuum broken glass.
