So which sandpaper grit is used for the job operation. That is something a painter needs to know before prepping a part for paint. Of course, this is going to depend it you are going to be priming, sealing, painting, or clear coating. In this video we’re going to cover all of these steps while prepping a fender to blend within the panel.
Question, if the whole panel is going to be painted without any blending of paint, then what grit of sandpaper should be used to sand the panel?

February 12, 2014 at 12:25 amI would like to see an improved audio portion of the videos. They are good but the “tunnel” effect takes away from the listener/viewer experience. Perhaps a mike on the shirt would give a sharper tone. I would just suggest those over-seeing this video would listen to the entire program and I really believe they would agree. Not trying to be negative just increase your worth. Thanks for listening…to me. KR

February 13, 2014 at 1:30 amI am currently using a mic on my videos. However, the footage of this project was recorded last year. I am just getting around to editing and uploading it. Other videos should start improving. I am the DIY when it come to video editing!

February 12, 2014 at 1:54 amHi Donnie,
I want to thank you for the videos. I understand how much effort it takes to make that happen and it is appreciated.
However, the audio quality in this video led me to shut down the video in the first few minutes. If the echo was not too distracting all by itself then there is an annoying music track overlay playing in the background. I don’t know if the music is intended to make the video “exciting” or what but this muddled the lesson.
Production issues are important and I know you want to get your message across. Please improve sound quality and please, at the very least, drop the annoying soundtrack.
Thanks again for your efforts. I have learned quite a bit from you Donnie. You are a great guy.

February 12, 2014 at 4:22 pmThank you, Donnie. This came just in time for me to fix the screw up on my hood.
I find it insulting for anyone to criticize you for anything on this video. The information on it is “priceless”.
Some people have no shame.
