We’ve been covereing auto estimating in class.  One thing we’ve discussed it that an estimtor is a salesman.  It is the estimators job to sell their repair facility and service to the customer.  Not only is it important to sell the repairs needed, but to stay competative in today’s market, shops must also look at other revenue streams.  For instance, what other services may the customer have performed from another business?  Why not chekc with them to see if they would like for your shop to perform the repairs while the car is in the shop.
