November 7, 2013 at 9:14 pmI am a amature never ever done this before, I’ve always wanted to learn, I’ve watched every video with Donnie Smith I can find, any way my question, is my pickup other than the roof and hood, the paint job is ok except the clear coat has a crackle effect to it I tried to get a pick but camera would pick it up. After I washed it I hit the left front quarter panel with 60 grit and I wanted to know if what happened is whats supposed to happen is this what I’m looking for before I put the 2k primer on it. I can’t post the picture I wanted to but the effect I got was a dusty look. Is this to deep in the paint, should I use a lighter grit or is this correct? Thanks for any and all help that could be given..
