Safety Glasses
The Collision Repair Education Foundation and LORD Corporation, the maker of Fusor products, are partnering to help provide additional safety glasses to collision students for their upcoming spring semester. Between now and December 31st, 2012, for every individual who “Likes” both organization’s Facebook pages, LORD will donate a pair of safety glasses (up to 10,000) to collision school programs through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
Industry members can “Like” the organization’s Facebook pages by visiting:
Please encourage your students to “Like” both Facebook pages by 12/31/12 so that we can receive the full 10,000 pairs of donated safety glasses from LORD Fusor and distribute these to schools next semester.
Gloves
Our friends at Chrysler/MOPAR donated over 200 pairs of mechanic gloves for those students who apply for a scholarship/tool grant this spring. Gloves, tech shirt, safety glasses, and dust respirator for every student just to apply… who wouldn’t take advantage of that? To apply for scholarships visit http://collisioneducationfoundation.org/
Be sure to visit and like CREF Facebook page and look around. They have other things to giveaway to students attending a collision repair program.
I would like to thank CREF and the donars for investing in our future collision repair technicians and the collision repair industry! 🙂
