Mustang Restoration – Welding On Outer Wheelhouse – Plug Welding Tips

Finally, we’re ready to start installing the parts and welding them on.  We’ve already performed a test fit, so we know everything should fit properly.  Now to prepare the flanges where we will weld, we ground the surface to metal and applied weld thru primer.  Next, we installed the outer wheelhouse using the self tapping screws and the holes we used when test fitting.  Once secured, we welded the outer wheelhouse on.  For additional steps we took and learn what we are going to do next, watch the video.
