This show is for the auto end users, to learn which products or tips really work or not. Donnie Smith, ASE certified collision repair instructor is going to put these to the test from the end user’s perspective with no special tools or tricks from the trade. With all of the hype and advertising, some of these products sound very convincing, but do they really work? That is what we’re going to find out.
Kansas (PRWEB) December 05, 2011
Donnie Smith has been involved in the auto collision repair industry for over 20 years. For the past 9 years, he has shared his knowledge by becoming a college instructor and teaching this trade to students. In additional to teaching students, Donnie has also helped teach the DIY auto enthusiasts do more of their own auto repair saving them money. He is the author of the book “Collision Blast Basic Auto Body and Paint Training” and has provided hours (1.5 million YouTube views) of free tutorials.
What Is Next?
Donnie is taking his training to the next level with a new show, “Does It Really Work Auto Show.” This show is different from most of the DIY how-to training he has provided in the past. Instead of providing auto related training, Donnie is going to test and try techniques and products on the show. This will help the auto enthusiast discover if the tip, trick, or product really works. The show will teach the consumer which products work and which products not to waste their money on.
Why Is This Show Important To Watch?
With all the advertising promotions and gossip or bragging, it’s hard to know if something really works or not. If the trick, tip, or product fails, the DIY enthusiast does not know if they performed the task properly or if the technique or product just doesn’t work. For example, can you really repair dents using a hair dryer and compressed air? This is what we are going to test in episode one.
Donnie is going to perform these tests from the average person’s perspective, without using special tools or tricks of the trade. There will be no special camera editing or only showing what works. What you see is what you get with this show, whether it works or not. The show will also feature trivia, tips, and Q&A.
