Regular Butler classes start August 22, so enjoy the last few weeks of summer break. However, classes have already started for some of us. I teach a college orientation class before school starts to allow the technical student to get that out of the way before regular session start. I am teaching that his week, I have in-service next week…then it’s time to kick the new school year off.
The collision repair program will start off with a full class, which is a good sign we’re off to a good start. I met a few of the students in orientation class yesterday. I would like to welcome the rest of you to Butler and to the collision repair program.
There have been a lot of questions from students about tools this year. If you have already purchased them, that is fine, if not, we will cover that during the first few days of class. It is not necessary necessary to have them the first day of class. I was also asked about textbooks. We do not require you to purchase a textbook. We use I-CAR CD’s, which is included in your tuition. The same with shirts, this fee is included in your tuition as well.
If you have any other questions before school starts, feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Enjoy the rest of your summer break and I will see you all in a few weeks.
