I recently returned from 3M headquarters from their 3M auto boot camp. While there I had the opportunity to learn about many of their new automotive products. This video is specifically about a new sandpaper. E-coat is becoming very difficult to sand, as they it is a much harder product. Therefore, regular sandpaper is wearing out before properly scuffing the panel. If not properly scuffed, could lead to paint failure resulting in peeling coatings. Introducing 3M hard E-coat discs. This is a new products designed specifically to sand these difficult hard surfaces. The new sandpaper will not give out as the older sandpaper.
