I recently wrote a blog “Pay It Forward,” which was about a collision repair program that is going out of their way to help another student that was severely burned trying to save his family from a fire. The students and instructor of auto body program decided to repair and restore the Mustang for the 15 year old burn victim as a present for when he recovers from the injuries. It’s easy to see the passion that the instructor has to help teach life lesson in addition to technical skills. In my opinion, that is that should always be the main focus on education.
The school has replied to me with the ways that you can help to donate to help this burn victim get a dream car and to help give the students a life lesson and the satisfaction that comes from giving to others.
If you have not already watched the news video, be sure to watch it.
Want to help? Here is the reply that I received of how to donate.
“Thank you for your email to Mr. Rayburn concerning donations for car repairs for DJ Brown, the burn victim. Our school is accepting donations of checks or money orders, with a notation in the memo “DJ Brown car repair” mailed to the address below. If there is a cash donation, we prefer that to be delivered to the main office at our school.”
