WyoTech Grads Rebuild 1982 Camaro for Soldier Kyle Jordan

December 18, 2010 by WyoTech 1 Comment

As a special project, a team of WyoTech graduates and instructors from our Blairsville, Laramie, Long Beach and Sacramento campuses teamed up to overhaul a third-generation Chevy Camaro for 101st Airborne soldier Kyle Jordan.

Armed with Summit Racing parts at the PowerBlock tech center, our Techers put in over 400 combined man-hours in just four days to transform Jordan’s 1982 Camaro into the “WyoTech Warrior.”

HorsePower TV host and show producer Joe Elmore said it was an awesome project to watch: “In all my years with this show — since the beginning in 1997 — this had to be one of the most satisfying, inspiring projects I’ve witnessed. The WyoTech grads and their instructors were enthusiastic, highly-skilled and hard-working. There was an atmosphere of unselfish dedication among those guys that was amazing.”
