It’s been a number of years since I have spoken at NACE, so it is certainly an honor to be able to speak again this coming October. I have been asked to speak on two separate subjects, and if you are looking to build a more profitable, successful business in the most ethical way, then I would love to see you at the seminars. The first seminar I will be presenting is an all-new AMI accredited course titled “The Best Pay Programs on Earth”, and I will be presenting it on Sunday, October 10. If you want to attract the superstars, and keep your employees producing at peak performance, then this seminar is perfect for you. I’m not only going to share many of the best practices I’ve used over the years to grow some amazing auto repair shops, but this course is also filled with dozens of tips I’ve picked up by working with hundreds of the most successful shops in North America. Then on Tuesday, October 12, I’ll be presenting “Stop Dreaming and Start Achieving.” This too is an all-new AMI accredited course, and I build it with just one purpose: To help shop owners take their shops right to the top. Like most of you, I too started my career as a technician, so if there is one thing I know about growing great companies it’s that as owners and managers we need a skill-set that is completely different than any other. You guys and gals in the collision industry are no different than the people in the repair industry: You truly are the heart and soul, not just of the industry, but you are the heart and soul of this great nation as well. This is why I am honored to be able to give back to you, and the industry, through the two seminars I will be presenting at NACE. If your schedule allows, I would be honored to see you there.

August 16, 2010 at 9:41 pmBob, thanks for posting to let us know about your training at NACE. With the split times of NACE and SEMA this year and SEMA offering more training, I was uncertain which event would be the best to attend. I am hearing more about collision repair training at NACE. Your class sounds interesting. Thanks!
