Your customers continue to invest in communication technologies that make life simple. If asked what percentage of Americans do you think own a cell phone, what would you say? A recent survey showed that 91 percent of Americans carry a cell phone. Want some more numbers to chew on? How about this – Americans sent and received some 822 billion text messages, or 5 billion a day, for the second half of 2009, and over 1.5 trillion messages for the entire year. That’s more than double the number of text messages in 2008 and those numbers continue to grow. I would guess for those numbers to almost double again for 2010. Take advantage of the technology that your customers love, outperform your competition, stay connected and get closer to your customers, tap into the customer network and enjoy all the rewards! UpdatePromise sends consistent pro-active status updates to your customers while allowing direct 2-way communication through text and email. Increase your CSI scores, enhance your shops productivity and see more on time deliveries, increase your customer referrals and retention rate, enhanced marketing with post delivery messages, brand recognition, and much more. August 4, 2010 at 11:07 pmAnd I’m sure the numbers will be much higher for 2010, it is the new era we are in, people view texting as a convenient way of communication. You can very quickly let someone know you are thinking about them, ask or answer a question, and all without interupting what you are doing.
