While we were out at WyoTech-Daytona covering the 20th Brute Horsepower Shootout, we got to check out one of our awesome student-built custom projects. In just four days, a group of about 10 students pieced together a custom-built quad with a 2004 R6 motor. As if that wasn’t enough, they tricked it out with LEDs, got a custom wrap made for the body, and even installed a 7″ touch screen head unit with an iPod hookup. Here’s a quick list of some of the work put into this quad: *custom exhaust *custom gas tank *custom battery box *custom electrics box *300-watt amplifier *7-inch touch screen w/ iPod hookup *two 5.25″ speakers *polished covers *custom wrap from Lumi-Brite *red, white and blue LEDs Special thanks to WyoTech instructor Brian L. and grad Mark H. for taking the time to show off their project! If you’d like to learn how to work on vehicles like this custom quad, visit www.wyotech.edu and give us a call at 1-888-577-7559 today!
