That’s right, today is the last day of July. This means that the new school year is right around the corner. Well, (19) days to be exact. I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe this summer is almost over. I wish the summers would slow down a little, but I am looking forward to the new school year. It looks like my 1st year student classes are going to be completely full. I’m anxious to see all of the talents and abilities this class is going to produce.
I am going to attend a recruiting event this weekend on Rock Road to try and finish filling the class. I only have (2) spots to fill so it should not be very difficult. If you’re a current student of the Collision Repair Program or if you’re someone interested in a Collision Repair Career Pathway, I invite you to come join us. Automotive Instructor, Jeremy Carlson, and I will have a wrecked car there to discuss the repairs we will be peerforming to it. Jeremy will be discussing the mechanical repairs and I will be discussing the damage repairs. You can also enjoy free food, register to win prizes, and rock out with music and a live radio remote from Power 93.9 from noon until 3 p.m. If you have questions about financial aid, cooperative education or other programs that Butler offers, come visit us from 9 am to 3 pm. Come join the fun! I look forward to hearing from you.
If I don’t see you there, I hope you enjoy the remaining (19) days of our summer break. Also remember to check this blog from time to time. When school starts I will be keeping you updated about what’s going on in the Collision Repair class.
The event is located at:
McConnell Service Center
2626 S. Rock Rd, Wichita,
This Saturday, August 2
9 am to 3 pm
